🌱 Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to be absolutely delighted with your terrarium. If something’s not quite right, here’s how we handle returns and refunds—with a splash of transparency and a sprinkle of green charm.
💭 Your Right to Change Your Mind
Under Irish and EU law, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind and cancel your purchase for a full refund (including standard delivery costs). You don’t need to give us a reason—but we’d love to know if your terrarium just wasn’t your vibe.
⏰ Returns Window
Beyond the legal 14 days, we extend our goodwill returns policy up to 30 days from the date of delivery. After 30 days, sadly, we can’t offer a refund or exchange unless the item is faulty.
📦 What Can Be Returned?
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and sent back in its original packaging (so it can travel safely).
❌ Items we can’t take back:
- Perishable items (plants, flowers, food, etc.) once delivered
- Gift cards
- Downloadable digital products
- Certain personal care or hygiene products
Terrariums containing live plants are considered perishable goods. If your little green world arrives damaged or unhealthy, please let us know straight away and we’ll make it right.
💶 Refunds
Once your return arrives back with us and passes inspection, we’ll send you an email update. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Banks can be slow (like a sleepy cactus), so please allow a little time for it to appear.
🔄 Exchanges
We only replace items if they’re defective or damaged. If you need a swap, contact us for returns details.
🏷️ Sale Items
Only full-priced items can be refunded. Sale items are final—no take-backs, sorry!
🎁 Gifts
If you return an order that was marked as a gift and sent straight to you, we’ll give you a gift credit once we’ve received the return. If the gift was sent to the gift giver first and then passed on to you, the refund will go back to them (so they’ll see the return).
🚚 Sending It Back
Please contact us for returns details.
- You’ll need to cover return postage costs (unless the item is faulty).
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- For pricier items, we recommend using a tracked service – plants can be sneaky travellers.
